My dear Kaho,
Today is an incredibly special day. It's your 20th birthday! It's not just any random birthday, it's THE one. You're officially a grown-up woman now, with all the responsibilities, possibilities, and virtues that come with this milestone.
But to me, you've always been that way. Although, at the same time, you've always kept your inner child active and alive, and I hope you never lose that part of yourself. Never lose your "young, innocent Kaho." I think that's one of the things that makes you unique.
I hope this new chapter of your life brings you everything you've wished for and worked so hard for. But above all, I wish you all the happiness in the world. I hope you have lots and lots of beautiful moments, wonderful people around you, and thousands of reasons to smile. At the end, you deserve everything, and more.
And finally, please forgive me. I haven't written a letter in more than 10 years, so I don't really know how to write one properly. But I wanted to make an exception for you.
I wanted this to be a surprise, I couldn't ask for your address or you'd have known my intentions. So instead, I created this little website and crafted the typography directly from my own handwriting. That way, it's like a real paper letter, but online :)
Anyway, this is just the first part, I have another gift for you; but I will give it to you personally. You can wait, right?
Thank you for existing, and thank you for being a part of my life. I hope we can create many other memories together!
Have a perfect day, Kaho.
Muchas felicidades! 🎂
Mark
